Electroterapia invasiva
Types of current
- Galvanic (continuous): Direct current for performing percutaneous electrolysis, particularly indicated for chronic tendon pathologies. It produces electrochemical changes in the tissue that stimulate reparative responses.
- Asymmetric biphasic (pulsed): Pulsed current from the TENS program, for for relief or blocking of chronic or acute pain.
- Monophasic/Biphasic symmetric (pulsed): Pulsed current for treatments in muscular, ligamentous, nervous tissue, etc. It is used for dry needling, percutaneous neuromodulation, and segmental stimulation to treat pain and dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system.
Types of treatments
Parameters 100% modifiable at any time during all treatments to adapt them to the needs of each patient.
- Dry needling: Application on myofascial trigger points. Predetermined and modifiable programs at high and low frequencies.
- Neuromodulation: Stimulation of dermatomes, myotomes, and/or sclerotomes related to the pain area. Predetermined and modifiable program.
- TENS: Analgesia induced by neurostimulation for relief or blocking of chronic or acute pain.
- Microcurrents: Application at sub-sensory level with multiple benefits for hypersensitive individuals.
- Pointer: Verification and stimulation of target tissue with a single needle.
- IPEN (electrolysis): Indicated for tendinopathies and muscle tissues. Produces electrochemical changes in tissue that stimulate regenerative responses.
